Yes, that episode is one of the best ones.
I actually thought Merv was already deceased.
For a long time, Merv Griffin lived in a small town in New Jersey, Califon. My friend and I once trespassed on his farm and fished in the pond there. We didn't catch anything, as I recall, but every time I watch Jeopardy or Wheel of Fortune and see that it's by Califon productions, I am reminded of that day.
